• What is happening to notyourmothers.com?

  Starting August 31, 2026, purchases will be made through retail partners instead of directly through notyourmothers.com. The website will continue to provide product information, hair tips, styling inspiration, and retailer links.

• When is the last day I can place an order on notyourmothers.com?

  The last day you can place an order on our website is August 30, 2026.

• Can I still browse products on your website?

  Yes, all product information, ingredients, how-to content, and product recommendations will remain available on our website. When you're ready to purchase, you can use our Retailer Buy Buttons on a product’s page to select a retailer and complete your purchase directly on that retailer's website.

• Will product prices be the same as before?

  Prices may vary by retailer based on each retailer's pricing and promotions.

• What happens to my loyalty rewards?

  Loyalty rewards must be redeemed by August 30, 2026. Any unused rewards will expire when direct purchasing ends and cannot be transferred or applied to purchases made through retailer websites.

• I placed an order before August 30. Will it still ship?

  Yes, orders placed before the cutoff date will be processed and shipped as usual. 

• Will I still be able to track my order?

  You can track your order at any time by logging into your NYM account. If you need additional assistance, our Customer Service team is available through the chatbot on our homepage.

• What happens if I need to make a return?

  If you experience an issue with your order or need assistance with a return, please contact Customer Service within 30 days of your order date. Our team is available through the chatbot on our homepage and is always happy to help!

• Where does NYM ship?

  We ship anywhere in the contiguous US via Standard Ground.

• How much does shipping cost?

  Free shipping on orders of $30+ or flat ground shipping for $10

• When will my order ship?

  After you’ve checked out, orders take 1-2 business days to be processed and 5-10 business days to be delivered. You can also track your order at any time by logging into your NYM account or by contacting customer service - hello@nymbrands.com

• My package arrived damaged/broken

• Adjusting my order

• Where can I find NYM near me?

  Locate your favorite NYM products online or in-store on each product page by clicking the Where To Buy button.

• Which payment methods do you accept?

  We accept ShopPay, Paypal, AfterPay, Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards or debit cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders.

• Where are your products made?

  All of our products are made in the US with US and imported ingredients. 

• Is NYM cruelty-free?

  We love our furry friends here at NYM and refuse to test on animals, as well as our manufacturers. We also do not have any third-party testing for our line of products.  

• Is NYM vegan?

  Our products are formulated with plant-based materials, and do not contain any animal products or byproducts with the exceptions of the following products:  

  • She's A Tease due to honey extract  
  • Royal Honey & Kalahari Desert Melon collection due to the honey  
  • All Eyes On Me 10-in-1 Hair Perfector, Curl Talk Curl Care Shampoo, Curl Talk 3-in-1 Conditioner, Curl Talk Defining Cream, Curl Talk Frizz Control Sculpting Gel, Curl Talk Lasting Definition Flash Freeze Gel, Curl Talk Refreshing Foam, Curl Talk Leave-In Conditioner, Curl Talk Defining Spray Gel, Way to Grow Shampoo, Way to Grow Conditioner, and Way to Grow Leave-In Conditioner due to the keratin  
  • All Eyes On Me 3-in-1 Hair wax stick due to beeswax  

  Vegan will be noted on the product pages if a product is considered vegan.  

• Is NYM packaging recyclable?

  Most of our products can be recycled. Once you finish your favorite NYM products, here is how you can properly recycle them:   

  For plastic bottles and jars:   

  • For bottles with pumps or sprayers: Discard pump/sprayer, remove the sleeve if applicable, and empty bottle before recycling. Bottle is not recyclable unless the sleeve is removed.  
  • For bottles and jars with caps/lids: Empty bottle, remove the sleeve if applicable, and replace the lid before recycling. Jar is not recyclable unless the sleeve is removed.  

  For aerosol cans: 

  • Discard plastic over cap and empty can before recycling. Do not puncture or crush. Close to 60% of Americans can recycle this package at curbside or drop-off recycling. Check your local program for details.  

  For flexible tubes: 

  • While our tubes are made with 100% polypropylene, many areas don’t accept them for curbside recycling yet. Please check your local program for details or if there is a store drop-off program near you.  

• Where can I find a full list of ingredients?

  All of the goodness that goes into our products can be found on the individual product pages.

• Can I mix and match products from different collections?

  Heck yeah you can! To maximize benefits, we recommend sticking to one collection as they are meant to work together (like our aura boost shampoos and conditioners). Mix and match the products that vibe with your hair the best if you’re looking for a range of benefits.

• What are the ordering limits?

  Feel free to order up to 5 units of any product per purchase within 24 hours! Any orders that exceed these maximums within 24 hours will be cancelled and flagged as fraudulent.
